Extensive technical product experience in network security controls. Experience in developing enterprise networks and security design architecture in a multiple site environment. Provides consultation to business area management and staff at the highest technical level for all aspects of LAN/WAN design and configuration in multi-server environment. Responsibilities may include: • Provide network architect support in the form of wellness assessments of agency LANs and WANs; creation of logical and conceptual network diagrams; monitoring, analysis, problem resolution, and changes • Support of firewalls, switches, routers • Support for security projects and processes Required Skills: * Technical experience with complex network environments and firewall support * Data network implementation, maintenance and analysis * Network switching * Advanced diagnostics experience with equipment and tools, routing protocols, network management tools * Troubleshoot through Remote Access * Ethernet and WAN technologies * Microsoft Visio skills * Superior analytical and problem solving and project management skills, and the ability to apply these skills to deliver quality service * Candidate must have a work history demonstrating strong customer skills and excellent work ethic behaviors * Strong preference for Unix scripting skills (e.g. Perl Bash, TCL CURL) Apache HTTP server, Unix/Linux OS * Through working knowledge of network fundamentals including IP networking, topologies and security concepts   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
