Walnut, Des Moines, IA is seeking 2 Testing Resources. Both resources will be assigned to working on testing and development of the Comprehensive Child Welfare Information Systems (CCWIS). The successful candidates work closely with the systems implementation team as part of the new Agile collaborated team of DHS. The Automated Regression Testing Team is tasked with creating an automated test suite on the TOSCA platform and to maintain the test suite going forward. These positions will initially be involved in the sprint teams helping develop manual scripts that will then evolve into the automated suite. Scrum Team Tester-Role Responsibilities: • Aid in the creation of the UAT Testers and SCRUM team to ensure manual test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for application product integration, and user acceptance test phases • Participate in the Agile Development Cycles (sprints) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and validate product fixes • Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures which includes test strategy and test plans Automated Regression Tester Responsibilities: • Working with Basic SQL queries to do required data analysis for testing front end screens and back end processes • Transform business test cases into automated test coverage • Develop repeatable fully automated tests, using the TRICENTIS TOSCA tool, that will operate without manual intervention • Execute test scripts and log defects • Provide creative solutions to challenges encountered developing repeatable automation • Rapidly update tests based on changes in the application • Contribute to the build out of lights out automation • Create test coverage using risk-based testing techniques • Work with the application team in Agile Development Cycles (sprints) to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process • Inform the test manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
