Must be able to lift computer equipment, have a valid drivers license and be able to travel to various DOPL offices within the Treasure Valley to provide in-person support. • Manage computer and user accounts in Active Directory (AD). • Good understanding of network protocols. • Receive telephone calls and emails from users having problems using computer software and hardware or inquiring how to use specific software applications, electronic mail, or Windows operation system features. • Ascertain the nature of the problem; determine problem cause, provide basic troubleshooting, and may enter information into the ITS Service Desk System. • Assist users through problem solving steps. • Communicate accurate and useful status updates. • DOPL will supply computer, phone and work environment necessary to fulfill the duties as described above. • DOPL reserves the right to cancel this request, or the contract at any time. • DOPL may not award a contract if the budget allocated for this service is exceeded based on responses. • If the person selected does not meet service expectations, DOPL will request a replacement or cancel the contract at our discretion. • Estimated hours of up to 840 hours. • Please limit your submissions to no more than two (2) responses (candidates). Agency Expected Deliverables To function in the stated capacity as defined under the scope of work, Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm daily. • Punctuality and reliability are essential in this role. • Excellent communications and customer service skills are essential. • The ability to interpret customer technical issues and determine appropriate categories and relevant information for resolving issues, and working with state ITS service desk staff in creating entries in the management system. ***This is an onsite/in person position*** The primary place of work where this staff will be required to work is located at:11351 W. Chinden Blvd., Building 6, Boise 83714, Other work locations may include local DOPL offices in Boise and Meridian as needed. Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Strong skills in Microsoft Office products, Office 365, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Strong understanding of the use of the Windows Desktop operating system, Windows 10. • Strong understanding of Active Directory (AD) for account management and group memberships. • Strong understanding of installing software requiring admin privileges. • Good computer data entry skills. • Good understanding and knowledge of Web Browsers, primarily Internet Explorer, Edge and Chrome. • Strong teamworking skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
