Potential Future Application Layout (COPS Application PP) Agency Expected Deliverables The IDJC is wanting to develop a statewide application for Idahos juvenile justice system in order to standardize the current behavioral health funding request and claims payment systems. This automated system will allow IDJC to increase customer service and support by • allowing us to monitor the progress of clients through the system to assure timely and accurate authorizations and discharges from service; • increasing reimbursement times for counties, tribes, and providers thus in turn allowing youth and their families to access behavioral health treatment timely without interruptions due to funding or billing issues; • reviewing regular budget reports and billing information from the county, tribe or providers to identify trends in the use of services and the levels of expenditure; • analyzing trends in service and expenditure use for the purpose of recommending and/or implementing operational changes. • providing a data sharing opportunity for stakeholders throughout Idaho.
