Description :

NOTE: Interviews for this position may be required as part of the evaluation process, at ITDs discretion, and will be conducted in person or via web video sessions. Candidates must be prepared to present themselves at the ITD Headquarters office in Boise, Idaho within forty-eight (48) hours of scheduling, candidates choosing the later must have access to a web-camera equipped computer for the scheduled interview.

NOTE: This position requires a fingerprint background check to be completed prior to hire. A Felony, Misdemeanor Conviction in the last five (5) years, or of moral turpitude will automatically terminate the PSO and the Contractor will not be allowed to work at ITD.

Idaho Transportation Departments DMV Division (ITD) is modernizing its systems responsible for drivers
Licensing, vehicle titling and registration, motor carrier administration, automobile dealer administration, airplane registration, among other business functions.

ITD has adopted an architectural approach that builds its modernized system on top of the Microsoft Dynamics
CRM foundational platform.

ITD has also adopted a development and integration strategy that conforms to the following principles:

1. Deliver functionality through configuration within CRM whenever possible. It is desired that all user interfaces are presented within CRM, and all operational data is stored within the CRM database schema.

2. Maintain compatibility with CRM upgrades that will permit ITD to migrate to newer release versions of
CRM without significant rework or development.

3. Ensure complete enablement of all ancillary CRM features, including but not limited to reporting on KPI metrics, workload balancing, and auditing, as specific ITD services are designed and configured in CRM.

4. Balance of flexibility and complexity. Reuse of workflows when possible, while considering design limits and best practice recommendations.

ITD seeks the services of a skilled Software Engineer, experienced with using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM
platform in an environment of similar size and transaction volume as ITD, to assist in accelerating the design of the modernization program. It is expected that the SE3 shall collaborate with ITDs architects to perform a detailed implementation of the system development approach considering best practices published by Microsoft, the SE3s real world experiences, and ITDs functional, performance and sizing needs. The SE3 will serve as both an
individual and a member of a team as an ITD CRM Configuration Analysts while implementing the design.

The work location is primarily in the Boise, Idaho area. The selected applicant is required to work onsite at ITD Headquarters office Monday through Friday. Contractors are requested to indicate the candidates primary residence location to aid ITD in determining the applicability of a fully burdened rate, and its subsequent evaluation of the Contractors rate proposal.

1. Entity and Entity Relationship design.
a. New and customized Entities.
b. Ensuring entity visibility and compatibility with:
i. ITD business requirements
ii. Reporting cubes
iii. Workflows
iv. Correspondence generation
