Skills and knowledge include. • Consults with stakeholders to define business need or problem; conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data; and analyzes problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization. • Conducts study or survey on need or problem to obtain data required for solution. • Analyzes data to determine solution, such as installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, modification of machines or equipment, or redesign of products or services. • Advises client or department heads on alternate methods of solving need or problem, or recommends specific solution. • Requires experience providing consulting services to governmental entities. • May be designated according to field of business and technical specialization. • Provides documentation according to agency standards • May supervise other contractors. Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Business Process Engineer The Business Process Engineer will work in the Self Reliance Division – Child Support Operations & Policy Group. Additional skills required to successfully perform in this role: • Knowledge of legacy and or mainframe systems; • Knowledge of Agile framework, development processes, and coding languages for proper process documentation. • Familiar with systems utilizing Natural and/or COBOL programming language, and Customer Information Control System (CICS) mixed programming language. • Extensive knowledge in evaluating program workflows, operations and services in the “as-is” and “to-be” business processes • Extensive experience in analyzing critical business needs and ability to define and document clear business requirements based on required process/business flows.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
