Description : ------------------------------------------------------ This recruitment is seeking an experienced and hands on Web Application Architect (AA) to act as a technical lead in theDCFFamily and Economic Support Technical Services (FESTS) Section. The web application architect will provide expert level design, programming, and analysis for TANF/Employment Programs systems.These DCF web applications heavily use Angular, JavaScript UI, jQuery and Kendo UI components, ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server. Strongtechnical mastery in JavaScript is mandatory. The web application architect will work closely with the project manager, business analysts, and development team, and act as the application development technical advisor to deliver valuable products that meet our partners business objectives. Work includes developing new web applications, enhancing existing applications, and providing maintenance of modernized web applications. New web application development is largely focused on adding new functionality and eliminating legacy mainframe applications by developing new application(s). Project duties will also include analysis, design, coding, testing, quality assurance, development of user documentation, training materials and help screens. The candidate should have strong communication skillsand should be a team player.Strong leadership and hands on technical expertise and development experience are required. First consideration will be given to those candidates that have experience with TANF systems or large case management, financial or state automated systems (i.e., UI, TANF, Child Support, TAX). Preference will be given to qualified candidates with experience in DCF Employment programs business area, prior experience with the CARES and WWP systems, and familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards.
