Job Description Manager: Health Insurance Exchange Programs, Planning Skills, Programming Languages, Databases Operating Systems

Description :

Roles And Responsibilities :

Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Develops project charter, work plans, schedule and budgets. Provides support to project team members. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals.

This is the expert-level project manager position. The person filling this position must be an expert in project management, including the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of large, complex projects.

This position is required to fill the Project Manager 3 position intended to support the Health Insurance Exchange project. This will be a full time position..

Experience:

Six Years minimum of directly related project management experience is required.
Education: Four year college degree or equivalent technical study.

Description of skills and knowledge include:

The person filling this position needs to be able to demonstrate the following skill sets:
• In-Depth knowledge of Health Insurance Exchange programs
• Experience planning and implementing projects
• Development of project charter, scope, goals, work plans, timelines, and implementation strategies.
• Creation of measurement processes/methods for assessing progress toward goals and project outcomes.
• Planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of complex enterprise projects.
• Identify decision-making issues and key stakeholders, develop and implement strategies to encourage and obtain stakeholder and/or community awareness and support, and identify project partners.
• Experience interpreting and explaining specialized or complex material into information usable by the public; develop and monitoring contracts.

Specific Skill Required (Programming Languages, Data Bases, Operating Systems, etc). Agency will enter specific skill requirements below, or attach a Word document as "Attachment C."

• May supervise contractors and provide direction to a large and diverse project team.
