***IMPORTANT NOTES***

1 - This position is FULLY ONSITE. Candidates must be willing and able to work onsite, full-time for this position.

2 - This position requires the candidate to have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle as some travel to DOPL offices within the Treasure Valley may be necessary to provide in-person support.

3 - This is a SHORT TERM need, expected to run through July 2022. Candidates must be comfortable with this as a short term contract position.

Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses is looking for a reliable service desk technician to assist staff with new employee set up, desk hardware configuration set up, and trouble shooting hardware and software issues reported by staff.

• Workstation configuration and deployment. Must be able to lift computer equipment, have a valid drivers
license and be able to travel to various DOPL offices within the Treasure Valley to provide in-person support.
• Manage computer and user accounts in Active Directory (AD).
• Imaging/reimaging user computers
• Good understanding of network protocols.
• Receive telephone calls and emails from users having problems using computer software and hardware or
inquiring how to use specific software applications, electronic mail, or Windows operation system features.
• Ascertain the nature of the problem; determine problem cause, provide basic troubleshooting, and may enter
information into the ITS Service Desk System.
• Assist users through problem solving steps.
• Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
• Ability to interpret customer technical issues and determine appropriate categories and relevant
information for resolving issues, and working with state ITS service desk staff in creating entries in the ticket management system.
