Skills Required: - Expertise in advanced sql tuning and pl/sql tuning including but not limited Interpreting execution plan Optimize table access, table join and subquery, bind variable, hints. - Experience with SQL, PL/SQL coding, Stored procedures, Triggers, Functions, Packages, Database Design. - Performance Tuning expertise: Expertise in Performance tuning SGA(Memory) tuning, Disk I/O, SQL tuning, SQL Tracing, etc - Partitioning: Partitioning on large tables, expertise in using composite partitioning, Interval and Reference partitioning with local indexes and global indexes. - Collecting and reviewing database diagnostic information and performance information. - Analyzing SQL statements and documenting recommendations for optimizing performance. - Analyzing database tables, index definitions, growth and associated entities. Determining the impact on the overall performance of the database, associated environment and application. - Ability to document assessment results and deliver recommendations.
