Qualifications: -Bachelors degree in health care administration, mathematics, health care financing, business Information Technology or computer science. -Minimum 5 years of work experience handling intricate database and information asset management and/or Business Intelligence responsibilities. -3-5 years of experience in performing data analysis and understanding data analysis results within the Healthcare Industry for large relational database structures. -Working knowledge of Health Care Industry data attributes, Medical/Health Groupers and Industry standard data sets required. (CPT, HCPCS, BETOS, NCPDP, HEDIS Measures, DxCG, DRG, MEG, Risk Scores, UB04, X12, National Committee for Quality Assurance, etc.) -Knowledge and prior use of PC-based applications used for data management. -Previous experience with the design, development and maintenance of various data models and their components. -Working knowledge of data analysis tools, such as SAS and database language tools like SQL. -Advanced Excel experience, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, -Demonstrated organizational, planning, analytical and people skills, along with being extremely resourceful. -Effective presentation skills are highly desirable. -Experience in leading teams is desirable. -Must be approachable and available when called upon to resolve conflicting business priorities, as well as opposing technology/operational needs and/or promises. -Understands BI tools and technologies as well as the optimization of underlying databases. -Prior experience in analysis of Medicare and Medicaid membership and claims data -Knowledge and prior use of PC-based applications used for data management Responsibilities: -Responsible for data modeling, designing, analyzing, compiling and validating healthcare industry data contained in multiple analytic assets. -Produces output to be used in designing new approaches to health care delivery by analyzing emerging trends in data brought about by changes in the commercial and non-commercial health care populations. -Deliverable: Plan Support, Scheduling, Status Reporting, Data Quality Analysis, presentations, Powerpoint, spreadsheets, XML   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
