Data Analysis ETL Experience BI Reporting Architect (Jobs in CHICAGO, IL)   Requirement id 20889 Job title Architect Job location in Chicago, IL Skills required Data Warehouse Architecture, Data Modeling, SQL, Data Analysis ETL Experience BI Reportin Open Date 29-Sep-2014 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 8 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Architect: Data Warehouse Architecture, Data Modeling, SQL, Data Analysis ETL Experience BI Reportin Engagement Description: Assist with the redesign of a multi-terabyte data mart to support reporting requirements Analyze the requirements Develop the logical data model to support the business requirements Translate the logical to physical model for deployment on a Teradata data warehouse appliance Recommend and deploy/perform various optimization methods to identify and mitigate performance issues and risk Help optimize queries/extracts to support Tableau dashboards through either direct connect or through data extracts Support project teams contributing to design and development in DB-related activities Work collaboratively with Data Architects and Data Analysts during data model design Work collaboratively with ETL development team to implement ETL/ELT architecture and techniques for optimizing load performance Desired Profile Bachelors Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience Minimum of 5 years Data Warehousing Architecture experience Minimum of 5 years Data Modeling experience, and strong understanding of dimension modeling (star/snowflake) Excellent SQL skills Hands on data analysis skills in understanding the data Good communication skills both written and verbal; demonstrated proficiency in English required. Good active listening skills. Must have experience in working with ETL and BI Reporting tools Knowledge of Teradata preferred Knowledge of DataStage (ETL), Tableau and SAP BOBJ/BOBI (reporting) strongly preferred Experience in agile environment is a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
