Job Description Engineer: Windows 7, PowerShell 2.0 Scripting, MCTS Certifications,

[Note: May need to be available to work on/off work shifts (possibly 2nd and 3rd shift). Travel - Minimum to none]

Description:

Seeking an experienced senior level engineer with large enterprise experience responsible for migrating desktop operating systems to Windows 7. Ability to work collaboratively across teams as a third level engineer utilizing defined online processes to successfully support our IT field technicians.

Roles:

Experience with Windows 7 upgrades and support and related Active Directory and HPCA administration process creation and automation experience. Setup and perform User Acceptance Tesing (UAT) in lab for current state operating systems with Windows 7 and future state for each respective area. Peripheral, driver, software certification. Level 3 and Engineering Troubleshooting. Managing exception process for applications found during the real time site survey process. May need to be available to work on/off work shifts (possibly 2nd and 3rd shift). Travel - Minimum to none

Required Skills:

* Excellent technical, interpersonal and communication skills are required: Windows 7 OS and its components;
* Extensive experience with HP hardware, HP Client Automation version 8 or higher SCCM (zero touch deployment).
* Powershell 2.0 scripting, VBS and/or command line scripting preferred good technical skills;
* Knowledge of Windows server administration (2003 -- 2008);
* AD administration and related policies, AGPM SCCM administration; * Preferred certifications: Windows 7 certified (MCTS).
* Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 MCITP for Windows 7 and enterprise desktop administration.
