The candidate will have strong experience analyzing, joining, relating and integrating relational data from multiple sources into a consolidated repository or data warehouse. Data modeling, data warehousing and multi-dimensional skills are preferred. Not looking for Database Administrators or PL-SQL programmers; the expectation is to design and build multiple Access databases that can query multiple sources and databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL, and Sybase) and integrate and house the information in specific, individual repositories, creating a GUI which allows maintenance to information and data. RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze, architect, design, develop, support, and test data integration logic within an Access data warehouse. Analyze source data and identify relationships; import / define source file layouts and fields within an ETL tool; generate reports and/or downloads; define and build integration and transformation logic from sources to data warehouse tables; recommend data warehouse enhancements as required to support integrations; validate and test data integration logic; complete other duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work can be substituted for educational requirements. JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE: A Minimum of three years of experience in data warehousing, data analysis, database or related experience; two years of experience defining integration logic and data transformation using ETL tools. Experience in Quality Assurance and testing of integration and ETL logic is required. Experience in designing and deploying the business solution is needed. FUNCTIONAL AREA SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: A strong knowledge and proficiency of MS Access and relational databases; proficient in the deployment of ETL tools; Experience with MS Access is required while experience with Oracle, SQL Server and other RDBMS is desired.
