Job Description : It the nations 2nd largest Information Technology staffing firm, has an opportunity for an SAP SuccessFactors Quality Assurance Tester to work for a large pharmaceutical company in Deerfield, IL. This is a long term contract position with an opportunity to go full time for the right candidate. The client offers a variety of perks, including a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with the newest technologies. This Quality Assurance Tester will be joining an existing team but will need to be able to work on his/her own and take ownership of the project. The technical landscape consists primarily of SAP SuccessFactors migration and manual testing. The ideal candidate would have a strong testing background with HRIS understanding and a strong knowledge of the HR system and process. Our client is migrating from Kronos to another application, within a very data driven environment. Understanding data mapping and being hands on in the data migration will be key to the success of this role. This candidate will also have 5-8 years of experience. Responsibilities Overview of SAP SuccessFactors Quality Assurance Tester: Responsibilities Participate in manual testing, documentation of testing, and automation. Coordinate and oversee the maintenance of test data, Create and update test cases and test scenarios due to changes in product functionality Perform thorough regression testing when defects are fixed Design, develop and maintain automated tests where applicable Develop comprehensive end-to-end test cases at the application level Help coordinate the QE testing and release procedures for a product team. Oversee and participate in the work of verification and validation of user stories implemented in web front end, back end, APIs, and supporting third-party tools. Working with database technologies Identify, document, and track defects found during testing Requirements B.S. degree or foreign academic equivalent in General Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field Experience with one of the leading test automation tools and frameworks Demonstrated ability to identify good test cases and document defects. Demonstrated ability to write documentation around testing practices. Professional background in SQL and relational database concepts. Knowledge and experience working with Agile development methodology Understand entire software development life cycle from requirements gathering to delivery Strong self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with limited guidance when necessary A drive to learn quickly and constantly adapt to new challenges/ Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience Experience with test scripting management tools Experience with Selenium with Ruby bindings but Java and Python experience is fine Familiarity with Agile lifecycle tools such as JIRA   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
