Generate price quotes for various server configurations. Partner with the procurement organization and place hardware/software orders. Develop proficient knowledge in Windows Server Operating Systems and Intel based hardware. Configure Intel and AMD based servers for operating system load. Load and configure Windows Server Operating Systems on physical and virtual servers. Develop a partnership with internal customers. Provide excellent customer service. Work on process improvement and waste elimination. Job Requirements: Strong interpersonal and communications skills. (verbal and written) Ability to learn quickly. 1+ year of Windows Server Administration experience (2008/2012/2016). 1+ years working in a customer services related role. Experience with VMWare and ESX Networking. Basic understanding of firewalls. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to share technical knowledge. Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks to ensure service level agreements are met. Ability and desire to take ownership, seeing tasks and projects through to satisfaction and completion. Ability to work in a team environment Strong customer focus. Education Preferred: Education Required: 2 or 4 year degree in Computer Science/Engineering OR equivalent work experience Preferred Skills (not required): 2+ years Windows Server administration experience. 2+ years Linux Redhat Server experience. 2+ years of experience with Dell/HP hardware. 2+ year of business writing..
