This person must have experience in testing financial applications, with emphasis in processing of taxes or preparation of tax returns. This person will need to have a solid understanding of the process to transform business requirements and use cases into viable test scenarios and cases with minimal support or assistance. The individual may also be required to lead other testing staff during the execution of the test scenarios if the timeline requires additional resources. • Primary Skills must include: o Strong communication and professionalism o Ability to work independently and as a team to learn processes and resolve issues quickly o Advanced experience with SQL query design and execution o Experience with JCL and batch processes o Basic understanding of tax forms and personal/business financial accounting o General understanding of financial transactions and verification methods o Highly experienced in planning testing strategy and creating related documentation § Create formal test strategies plans, estimate test effort and manage test efforts (all test cycles) § Analyze business requirements and technical specification documents to develop test cases, test scenarios and expected results § Identify and prepare test data § Execute test cases and verify test results § Log test results and defects and perform test results analysis § Work with business and technical resources to analyze problems encountered in testing and determining changes required to correct problems § Execute system integration test cases § Coordinate user acceptance testing § Design and produce logical day plans where needed § Report testing statuses and results to project teams and management through reports and presentations § Produce quality test deliverables § Create quality assessment metrics o Experience and skill with producing RTM using Quality Center o Full understanding of tracking test case and defect status using Quality Center • Secondary Skills which will advance consideration: o Accounting experience related to taxation o Experience in producing automated scripts for testing o Knowledge of Case Complete software o Experience with software for test data creation or data masking such as Gardium or Optim o Experience with processes or systems related to Revenue or Taxation o Experience with Compliance Sheriff or other software for validation of application accessibility and compliance.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
