Job Duties: • Troubleshoots and resolves complex infrastructure hardware and software problems for multi-user computer platforms. • Installs and maintains infrastructure hardware and software. Develops and implements standard practices for support and maintenance activities. • Provides maintenance, problem resolution and analysis of security exposures and opportunities on multiple platforms, including Windows and Linux operating systems and security tools like anti-virus, monitoring, etc. • Analyzes, documents and reports on internal investigations of possible security violations and implements mitigations. • Develop and maintain patch management processes and procedures to ensure security patches are applied to server operating systems and components. • Perform system hardening processes to implement CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmark controls on server operating systems (Windows and Linux). • Performance monitoring, tuning, availability, security, and capacity planning of multi-user computer platforms. • Strategy, engineering, design, and project management of multi-user computer platforms. Develops and maintains diagrams documenting systems. • Effectively communicates with clients, peers and management by blending appropriate levels of technical and business detail to ensure issues are thoroughly understood by his/her audience. • Develops and maintains relationships with clients, peers, vendors and management. • Works in cooperation with IT Security to ensure we are in compliance with Enterprise Security standards and that the companys network security is not compromised. • Reviews systems logs and messages to identify and report on possible violations of security policy or breaches of security policy or breaches of security defenses, then takes actions to mitigate. • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
