The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, modifying and evaluating enterprise Java/Web SaaS solutions for the Healthcare Payer/Provider Market. Key Responsibilities: * Designs, implements and maintains code based on functional and technical requirements. * Performs reviews of code and applications, including developing automated tests to assure quality. * Follows established processes for performing work. * Recommends improvements to both processes and products. * Works well in a strongly collaborative but mature agile development environment. * Prefers to generalize and work in a variety of areas instead of specializing in any one technical area (server, client, DB, multiple applications). * Solid understanding of good coding and testing practices, * Functional understanding of design patterns. * Familiar with RESTful principles. Required Skills: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field 6+ years of overall professional software engineering experience 2-6+ years experience with Core Java development Solid understanding of testing practices Solid experience with REST Web Services or a similar Web Services technology Experience with modern development tools (continuous integration, build, version control, etc) Experience with Design Patterns, Architecture, Design, Test Drive Development, Dependency Injection or similar Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate and Grails Experience with testing tools such as JUnit and Mockito Experience with web UI frameworks and languages such as AngularJS, Flex, Javascript Experience with CI tools such as Team City and build tools like Ant or Maven Additional Requirements: Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
