This includes troubleshooting and problem resolution for existing functionality and the design, development, and implementation of new functionality necessary to support the user community. The individual is responsible for the implementation and initial testing of regulatory updates as provided by our external support partner. The individual is also responsible for, in collaboration with our Workday implementation partner, the extraction and preparation of data for conversion from PeopleSoft to Workday. Primary Responsibilities • PeopleSoft support of our existing student system (Campus Solutions) (30%) o Respond to user requests submitted via our Jira ticketing system to investigate and resolve system issues. o Test and implement regulatory updates as provided by our external support partner. o Design, develop, and document new functionality as approved by the Associate Director, Student ERP Operations and Implementations. • Data conversion tasks, PeopleSoft to Workday (70%) o In coordination with the Data Conversion Team, extract, format, and prepare data from the PeopleSoft database for loading into Workday. o Work with subject matter experts to develop and document the necessary logic for data extraction. o Prepare data conversion files for use by our implementation partner. o Identify, manage, and correct data issues encountered during the conversion process. o Identify and escalate risks as needed. o Ensure data quality and data integrity between PeopleSoft and Workday. Qualifications • A minimum of 5-7 years experience providing technical support for PeopleSoft • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools including Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, PS Query • Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and SQL functions for Oracle databases • Experience working with large data files • Experience with Excel Position Requirements • Deep subject-matter knowledge of PeopleSoft (technical and functional) and the associated development tool set.
