Day to Day Responsibilities: Our client is currently looking to add a new member to their award-winning interactive development team. The primary focus of this position will be to work with Team Leads, the Interactive Director, and the whole client team to develop websites and other related projects for a wide range of uses and clients around the globe. Typical work includes the creation of new projects using both front-end and back-end web technologies for online and offline use, as well as occasional updates to existing projects. Successful applicants should be detail oriented, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, able to work as part of a team and on their own with limited guidance, have a good grasp of full-stack web development and technologies, as well as be able to step into anothers shoes to quickly troubleshoot / repair existing projects. Good communication skills are critical for this position to ensure a quality look and feel for all our interactive applications, and to devise future innovative solutions that reflect our clients pioneering brand identity. There are currently three members of the development team and this is a new role created due to additional workflow. Required Skills: 4-6+ years of professional experience in web development Candidate must be process driven but able to adapt Solid PHP skills are required Experience with some/all of the following web technologies: HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3 and SASS Experience with responsive and adaptive web development Experience with MySQL Experience with Javascript and frameworks such as JQuery Experience with XML and/or JSON Experience with Wordpress as a Content Management System (CMS) including theming Wordpress site design from PSD to production.
