Note: Maximum number of resumes per ITS63 Vendors: 1 Note: person must be local Submission Deadline: 4/3/2020 4:00 PM Start Date: 4/13/2020 End Date: 6/30/2020 Client: EOHHS Description: Duties • Report to the IT Asset Manager and/or Director of Field Operations; • Maintain a professional relationship with all Business (Agencies\Programs) and IT leadership, with internal & external project teams, with other EOHSS organizational service units, and end users. • Adhere to all Secretariats and EOHHS ITs policies, procedures, and standards. • Assist in the development of the EOHHS IT Asset Management program and ongoing continuous process improvement efforts. • Adhere to internal project management standards; ensuring issues are identified, managed, and escalated and ensure the timely reporting to team members/PM/Managers and Supervisor of current efforts and task statuses. • Analyze current business and IT operational trends (Software, Hardware, Subscription, Leases, OSD Surplus), review past and current acquisition/procurement spending and collaborate on helping agency support there staffing trends. • Maintain knowledge of current state procurement rules; RFI, RFQ, RFR and Advanced Planning Documents (APD) • Represent EHS IT in vendor contract negations, maintenance renewals, and ongoing vendor relationship management. • Conduct client workshops and/or classroom training for users and IT staff as required by Manager/Supervisor • Exercise responsibility over assigned work and maintain acceptable levels of service performance in resolving issues, data collection, recording, reporting, and in maintaining controls over IT Assets including; hardware, software, subscriptions, leases, and IT Asset inventory by location or vendor. • Collaborate with the Regional Office Managers and IT Site Managers to resolve open issues on a timely basis and update status and maintenance of the IT Asset inventory and service management ticketing system • Assist Managers/Supervisors in prioritizing and resolving service/change order requests. • Maintain financial control over all EHS computer hardware and software license, maintenance agreements, lease contracts. • Maintain accurate Asset ledgers recording encumbrance, serial number, object codes, model number, and location • Enhance the ITAM discovery process using data to track current software and hardware use, renewals, and ensure compliance with proper asset control. • Manage salvage/surplus/destruction of obsolescence IT hardware, ensuring all OSD Surplus procedures are followed. • Regularly work with business stakeholders, support teams, project management, external vendors, and developers in the promotion of EOHHS and EOTSS standards and guidelines • Required to travel occasionally to various state sites occasionally as requested • Required to lift 35 pounds and push 65 pounds of computer equipment occasionally as requested • Prepare fiscal documentation and procedures for the acquisition and disposition of fixed assets • Regularly research and reconcile EHS computer & software financial and licensing records • Maintain proper oversight of computer hardware and software inventory sites, maintenance agreements, lease contracts recorded by serial number, model number and location • Maintain all procurement activities, monitor negotiation and awarding of vendor contracts; ensuring they were conducted in accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and EOHHS Legal and OSD guidelines. • Gain a detailed understanding of the Statewide Accounting System (MMARS) and the Commonwealth Information Warehouse for use in ongoing improvements in analysis and reporting • Duties may focus on project management,   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
