The Executive Office of Health and Human Services seeks an IT Project Manager to lead and manage the TMSIS implementation project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team and contribute to a critical and highly visible project within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. The TMSIS Project is the implementation of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) required state Medicaid reporting standards. The TMSIS Project Manager will join the EOHHS MMIS Team in leading the TMSIS project. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the Information Technology Team that is responsible for the implementation, operations, and maintenance for the TMSIS Reporting process. Duties: • Work with IT and business stakeholders to develop the project plan with detailed milestones and activities. • Implement the plan and report status and risks on a weekly basis to Medicaid Information Management System (MMIS) stakeholders. • Host a weekly project status meeting with the vendor Project Manager. • Host a Biweekly project status meeting with IT, vendor and business stakeholders. • Meet monthly with two separate CMS stakeholder groups to discuss TMSIS related technical topics and status of data quality issues, errors and missing items. • Define project requirements with key IT and business stakeholders • Work with business stakeholders to solve TMSIS reported data quality issues, errors and missing items. • Coordinate project activities for adherence to project plan and goals • Monitor results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies and associated technical specifications • Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, project checklists and budgets to meet established time frames, funding limitations and staffing availability. • Work with IT Financial Analyst to prepare and maintain project budgets and funding requests for approval by targeted state and federal agencies. • Prepare comprehensive supporting plans in the areas of quality control, risk management, change management, testing and other associated project management areas • Manage project development process to include monitoring project scope and change control processes • Review and approve monthly software deployment testing and migration. • Perform work in association with industry recognized standards, guidelines and practices • Adhere to established Commonwealth policy and procedures with respect to project management methodology quality assurance and other related standards • Manage vendor contracted to maintain and operate the TMSIS Reporting software. • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheets to convey various project events such as monthly status, project overviews, budgets, and funding requests for review with IT and business stakeholders and government representatives. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of, and experience in a healthcare information technology environment • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with management, business users & project team members • Ability to interact effectively with technical personnel and with a wide variety of technical resources • Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts, information, plans, and procedures to both technical personnel and non-IT business users • Knowledge and demonstrated ability to co   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
