Description:
Our Clients IT team is currently seeking an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented leader to lead and manage our Clients ServiceNow platform within their Solutions Development team as the Solutions Development Manager - ServiceNow solutions. This candidate will be responsible for leading an organization of software & systems engineers, business systems analysts, application architects who plan, design, develop, test and deploy technology solutions that meet & exceed expectations of our Clients internal & external customers. As an experienced Solutions Development Manager, the ideal candidate will manage dedicated solutions development team that incorporate customer-centric design thinking practices using Agile software development methodologies.



About the role:

Manage the development activities for IT Solutions projects in the ITSM domain using ServiceNow platform.
Hires and leads managers and technical leaders; coaches and counsels team members, and determines and manages staffing strategy and plan, consistent with the needs of the team
Provides leadership to solution development teams, and proactively engages with teams to promote process and organizational improvements that enhance overall effectiveness, especially drive Agile & SAFe methodologies.
Prepares and presents program-level communications for executives and stakeholders
Defines performance objectives and development plans for team members and ensures alignment with department objectives
Establishes financial plan for department and manages to plan, and jointly establishes financial targets with business partners
Develops and maintains a network of industry contacts; performs research on industry trends, competitors, business and IT products; analyzes trends and make strategic and tactical recommendations
Ensures system, technical and product architectures are aligned with business objectives



Required Skills:

1. Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering or in related field.

2. At least 10+ years of experience working in the technology industry with 3+ years in leadership role.

3. 3+ years in ServiceNow experience.

4. Experience in implementation and customization of core applications including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Configuration Management, Service Catalog and Service Portal.

5. Experience in leading business change programs involving ServiceNow platform.

6. Thorough knowledge of Agile software delivery models (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)

7. In-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture.

8. Ability to promote and role model a team-oriented environment.

9. Ability to lead technology teams globally (US & UK).

10. Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.

11. Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.



Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):

1. Masters degree in computer science/engineering or in related field.

2. Thorough knowledge and experience with ServiceNow and applications, and experience implementing at an enterprise-scale.

3. ServiceNow Developer or Administrator certification.

4. ITIL Foundation certification
