Job Duties Design, configure and enhance processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand. Have the ability to read and understand process and data flow diagrams and apply principles to design concepts Develop standards, guidelines and complete standard design documents/ templates for building automations Work in an agile/iterative development environment Manage the reuse and portability of automations within and across business lines Configure, design, test and deploy all complexity levels of automations Explain and demonstrate built automations to end-users Continually look for opportunities to enhance and improve existing automations and implement agreed upon recommendations Monitor automation market trends and evaluate alternative tools to consider for further evaluation Provide support and remediation to customer groups and IT as needed for existing automations Work collaboratively with all team members throughout the project lifecycle Work within project planning constraints &communicate any identified project risks and issues to the Program Manager and Stakeholders accordingly Improve skills in automation products by completing automation certification Qualifications The Senior Automation Engineer will have: A computer science degree, or a business degree with a genuine interest in technology A minimum of five (5) years of experience with software development / coding / programming concepts or process/workflow design Automation development experience in at least one (1) automation platform 3+ years of technical experience with Services Automation projects The ability to assess a business case & recommend the optimal RPA platform/tool Superior communication skills with the ability to present business and technical details to executive-level audience A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team Strong analytical skills and the ability to improvise & apply automation solutions to business processes Experience in object-oriented programming and agile methodology A good understanding of various automation components and features Formal training on a RPA tool (Pega Robotics, UIPath, Cortex, Automation Anywhere, Work Fusion, Blue Prism, etc.) Strong learning agility; ability to pick up multiple automation tools/processes.
