The Sr. Programmer is responsible for delivering solutions the business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services or optimized business processes. The Sr. Programmer is an active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle and will be required to work closely with a variety of internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented and met and technology delivery is complete and accurate. The Sr. Programmer generally works on projects of medium to high complexity. The Senior Programmer supports the system, including taking responsibility for the resolution of moderate to highly complex on-call issues, monitoring the system, and communicating with the vendors regarding problems, to ensure the system is functioning. Diagnoses, isolates, and de-bugs issue and performs problem resolution. Documents resolution appropriately. Minimum Educations / Experience Qualifications: College degree and 2 years of related work experience, or Associate degree and 4 years related work experience General Knowledge and Skills: Adaptable and able to learn quickly Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups Demonstrated advanced ability to translate functional business requirements into complex technical solutions Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills.
