Position: QA Specialist Location: REMOTE Rate: Negotiable Duration: 1+ Years Responsibilities: Develop test strategies. Automate tests using test frameworks. Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems. Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality. Create test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary. Utilize innovative testing technologies to develop products testing strategy. Participate in design and code inspections. API level testing. Perform manual testing when required, ideally with an eye towards automation Analyze test logs; create test reports, and co-ordinate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders. Education/Experience: BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years core development experience as a Software QA Engineer. 2 years of development and/or test automation experience. Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in writing clean code quickly. Preferably Java coding. Experience in writing web based product testing frameworks and automation tools.
