Job Description : Environment Administrator Position is responsible for managing multiple environments for a large, multi-tier multi-vendor solution in the Consumer Lending line of business for our client. Prior experience in Deployment Management, Release Management, Development Management, Project Management, and/or Program Management is required. Experience with enterprise java platforms, creation and execution of deployment plans, coordination of resources across multiple development and operations teams, and management of overlapping execution schedules is necessary to be successful in the role. A typical waterfall release will consist of repeated daily deploys to multiple tiers within multiple environments supporting development, functional QA, regression, automation, performance testing activities, and production support, ensuring the integrity and consistency of code progression. Agile work will consist of managing multiple, overlapping branches of code, delivering on the same path of development to production. The resource will: Develop, implement and improve reusable release process for subsequent and future release execution, planning and facilitating daily deploys to multiple QA environments, culminating in monthly and quarterly releases to production Follow release management process and methodology to ensure quality is delivered and SLAs are met, acting as gatekeeper to managed environments, ensuring proper code migration process is followed and appropriate approvals are granted prior to execution Build and manage strong relationships with Development Teams, Integration Leads, Quality Assurance teams, Release Delivery Managers, Infrastructure teams, and Operations teams Create and deliver daily status reports, perform post release execution analysis and reporting, recommend process improvements Understand technical architecture of the solution and all associated deployment components Manage change control process impacts to managed environments, coordinating support, execution, validation and communication for scheduled maintenance Track and communicate status of release schedule, issues, risks and activities Coordinate the use of development and test environments in support of the releases Lead and co-ordinate the go-live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists, managing triage efforts of any post-release issues   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
