Description: Product MDM Authoring Analyst - will act as a liaison/arbiter between product managers, legacy product catalog owners, SOR and functional area SMEs to author Product MDM catalog data for existing WF products. Will also identify governance process issues and data issues to assist in the refinement of processes, standards and guidelines. Responsibilities: Perform data profiling and work with source systems to understand data. Prepare deliverables including Functional Solution Design and Source to Target Mapping according to high level design specifications and design patterns. Experience with Master Data Management and Reference Data. Maintain and ensure that internal documentation is updated as a result of project implementations and business analysis Analyze and resolve data issues Ideal Background: · Understand MDM, reference data, financial products, business needs and system interfaces · Understand product data in sense of: o Loans, securities, derivatives, etc. · Data mapping to products · Gather requirements, specifications, etc. · Previous experience at Wells Fargo would be good- steep learning curve. Cant consider candidates from smaller shops- WF is too complex · No MDM experience but experienced with large data sets? Would you consider? o YES. § MDM is new term in the industry. Would be help but the data experience/large data sets would be key § Worked with large data, they also have been involved in understanding the data strategy. MDM is about aligning to a data strategy. § Data experience in a large company like Wells Fargo- then they dont have to have the MDM experience Requirements: 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, (some business systems design experience can be substituted). Experience with presenting data analysis results in Excel and Powerpoint Understanding of how data product definitions solve for analytical and operational use cases Significant experience applying analytical rigor to support data strategy decisions A bias to action and a proven track record of exceeding client expectations Knowledge and passion for emerging technologies and how they are used to empower developers and businesses to deliver great products. Structured communication & storytelling skills who can explain complex data problems to all audiences Experience in designing and creating the architecture of MDM solutions Experience in data governance/data management concepts and practices Experience in Data Dictionaries, Data Lineage, Metadata Financial Services experience with background in Financial Services products and product mappings.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
