Engages in data modeling, database architecture, data migration, metadata and repository creation, and enablement of reporting and analytics. Responsibilities include: - Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources (structured / unstructured) and develop strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality. - Assist with bulk data migrations, data analysis, data formatting, data modelling and transformations - Help resolve data issues by performing data analysis and providing innovative solutions - Consult with Software Developers to research and correctly interpret business requirements and technical specifications, with the current application version or future enhancements. - Assists and manages customers through data Extract, Transform and Load processes - Collaborate and work with partnering app teams for implementations, as well as teams like QA, DBA and IT, for testing, verification and compliance, as needed. - Document and maintain business definitions, data dictionary and metadata. Basic Qualifications - 3-4 years of recent work experience in data structure and data migration and data analysis. Minimum Qualifications - In-depth understanding of databases: Oracle, SQL Server, creating and configuring databases. - Experience with Data Integration, visualization and Data analytics products is a must. - In depth knowledge of relationships between data domains, including each data domains key identifiers. - Read and interpret data models and file structure(s) of project databases. - Understanding of data domain specific standards and transformation concepts. - Exposure to ETL tools - Minimum 4 years of experience with SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL views and Stored Procedures. - Experience in designing and implementing ODS and Data Marts. - Effective communication and writing skills necessary to lead technical discussions and information. - Ability to work effectively independently and in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications - Extensive experience with SQL Plus and PL SQL programming - Experience in SSIS/SSRS/SSAS - Knowledge of different migration tools / apps - Excellent domain knowledge on CRM Applications. - Experience working with offshore teams. - Experience of integrating data across Operating Systems: Unix, Linux and Windows - Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
