His Product Team currently has 11 software engineers broken down into 2 teams: 1) legacy system known as Savvis Station Portal (SSP) - ticketing system 2) Managed Services Portal (MSP) - rewrite is live and this is the system any new hire would be focused on. This is a ticketing system used by clients and theyre adding new functionality throughout weekly sprints. Team is aspiring to be true agile with weekly releases/demos to Product Owner and any customer representatives. His current team is developing several public-facing Single Page Applications that allow customers to do a number of activities such as managing tickets and changes to their servers and VMs which are hosted by CenturyLink. The application uses modern techniques and approaches such as current JavaScript front-end frameworks speaking RESTfully to a microservice-oriented back-end in a containerized environment. We strive to be agile with small, iterative, weekly releases, open and honest communication and a strong drive for continuous improvement. After Q1 of next year, here are some of the skills were looking for (in order of importance): UI/Front-end: 1. ReactJS 2. ES6 3. Jest 4. Enzyme 5. Sinon 6. Mocha 7. ViewJS 8. Angular 2+ Back-end: 1. Java 8+ 2. Spring/Spring Boot 3. JUnit/Mockito 4. REST services with Spring Boot (consuming & producing) 5. Docker/Kubernetes Generic job description for future state of this system: • Design overall architecture of the web application • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements. • Development experience for both mobile and desktop. (Responsive design) • Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications. • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git • 6 to 8 years of experience. • Should have Node JS, HTML, CSS & Java Script experience for last 4+ years • Should be strong in Core Java - (full stack developer) with strong backend querying through mongo/oracle/SQL. • Must be able to technically and functionally adapt to the upstream/downstream flows - and will be the Lead guiding the respective sprint team. • Should drive/deliberate actively during sprint planning meets to access/estimate scope of work getting defined. • Experience with REST Web Services and Microservices architecture • 2 years of development experience with REST services using Springboot or NodeJS/ExpressJS • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes in production • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins • Must be collaborative, adaptable, and have good communication skills. • Prior experience working on agile teams is a must   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
