Description: MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: -Oversee the release, schedule, completeness and tracking of all IT related capital and non-capital projects. Manage project funds using MAGIC, where appropriate, to maximize the expenditures and minimize the cost. -Support the financial reporting and analysis for overall IT spend. -Support audit & budgeting processes. -Provide management with ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed. Assist in compiling, developing, and preparing data for the annual IT budget utilizing historical and current data. -Consult and assist in training MDCPS support staff on best practices 2 Required Skills/Experience: Provide the minimum required skills and/or experience the contractor must possess to qualify for this position. TO BE CONSIDERED, all proposed consultants must meet the following mandatory requirements: -Bachelors degree. -Preferred but not necessary, 8 years of related experience. -Experience working in a fast paced, cross-functional, and multi-team environment. -Demonstrate skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of tools and expert proficiency of Excel is a must, ability to formulate detailed analysis. -Knowledge and experience with IT procurement. -Ability to maintain confidentiality. Preferred/Not Required: Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required.
