Description : MDES is seeking one (1) enterprise architect with experience in .NET applications. The contractor will work in the state office with existing MDES technical team members to set the direction and establish the approach of an organizations operations, improves the IT infrastructure, and optimizes their business operations. The enterprise architect works to integrate the organizations information applications and programs. The contractor may also be required for designing, developing, and enhancing additional applications as requested. Tasks required will be: (1) Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies and IT processes and suggesting improvements. (2) Creating business architecture models to reflect the organizations strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals. (3) Evaluating systems engineering, talent recruiting and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities. The particular contractor will support the MDES Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) application and functions required under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE : NET Development and Support 10 .NET Visual Studio – Must have experience with recent versions. 10 Proven work experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role 10 Experience in modeling and graphic representations 10 PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE : Record locking development and experience 5 Application level security 5 System and user level auditing 5 SQL Server Database Administration 5 Design and produce queries for quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc reports required by US Department of Labor, Legislature, and state and local partners 5 Data modeling 5   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
