We have a 12-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Tester, Expert Will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of deliverables with the input of both contract and DOH team members. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Provide guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles. Guide testing activities, including UI automation, integration testing, performance, and scalability testing Review and provide guidance on the test scope and output of testers performing exploratory testing in development sprints. Facilitate, record and capture information from demos and clinical validations. Create status reporting mechanisms to monitor the status of the above activities. Host integration discussions, with representatives of all test teams, identify and help resolve roadblocks Prepare test protocols and reports which meet regulatory requirements, during the final test cycle. Help keep test processes streamlined for efficiency. Participate in Business Analysis requirement gathering meetings. Create test plans. Create test scripts. Edit scripts. Automate functional test scripts. Performance testing. Document lessons learned. Mandatory Qualifications: Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 Months Experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test strategies based on software specifications. Experience must include creating test plans, test schedules, test reports, and creating test strategies. 84 Months Experience coordinating, tracking, and analyzing testing actives working directly with business analysts, business, and technical subject matter experts. Experience must include use of defect management tools to identify, document, track and communicate to technical staff. 48 Months Experience as a Test / QA Lead working on software development and data migration project(s). 36 Months Experience in using Quality Center. 24 Months Experience using Redmine 24 months Experience using HP Quick Test Professional (QTP), Mercury, or HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to automate manual functional test scripts.
