Description: Job Duties: (Re)build and maintain configuration and provide administration support for multiple large Big Data clusters. Deployment of monitoring and alerting, and log aggregation / analysis for OS through middleware on the Big Data platform is also expected. Will align with architecture and data delivery teams to deploy new hardware and software to stand up new clusters, or expand and upgrade existing clusters. May also perform analysis and integration of emerging Big Data tools into the environment, based upon a client-driven roadmap. Required Skills: 4+ years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience Experience supporting an Enterprise environment Automated hardware provisioning experience Experience with Build Tools such as Redhat Satellite, Puppet, etc. Desired Skills: Log aggregation experience (Splunk, etc.) Strong Shell Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, Python) Experience with Monitoring and Alerting Tools (Nagios, Grafana, etc.) Experience using Big Data Tools (HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Atlas, Ranger) Hadoop administration of Hortonworks, MapR, or Cloudera.
