Job Description :

Responsibilities

Content management and SharePoint administration responsibilities involve working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review documents currently housed in SharePoint environment. This role will be responsible for creating and organizing new SharePoint sites, establishing workflows, creating and aligning views (calendars, for example) and recommending appropriate site structure, as well as site reviews and oversight. This position will deal with meta-data, MS InfoPath, SP work-flows, triggers and alerts. Additionally, this role will support identification of key documents to be relocated to a web based content management system; identification of documents slated for archive; and identification of documents of a collaborative nature to remain in SharePoint.



Critical success factors include the ability to interface with leaders and SMEs, document owners and management, via online or face-to-face meetings, conference calls and emails, senior level document tracking in Excel, and reporting SharePoint status on a weekly basis to team lead.



Experience working in a fast-paced work environment, team player and excellent communications and writing skills. SharePoint, document management, web based content management experience required.


Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum 3-5 years experience SharePoint Administration (Non-Developer) role
Minimum 3-5 years experience Content/Document Management
Minimum 2-3 years experience in technical writing
Minimum 2-3 years experience Microsoft Excel skills – Intermediate Level
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking skills
Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight
Coordinates delivery of initiative milestones, ensures tasks stay on target, escalating and identifying roadblocks
Experience creating, formatting and editing documentation in a web-based environment and MS Word. Comfortable with MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Must be able to identify, analyze and address problems to resolve issues whenever possible in a way that minimizes negative impact and risk to organization
History of completing strong client related initiatives
Strong familiarity and short learning curve with technologies
Ability to innovate and drive internal process improvements
Must be collaborative and a team player
Has experience work with tight deadlines



Preferred, not required:

Experience with OpenText web-based content management system
