The position is responsible for the triage and resolution of complex system and/or application issues and the deployment of code within a controlled change-management environment. The candidate will provide on-call support for production applications and work closely with other team members, proprietary and vendor development staff and various other teams to resolve issues. The position requires analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to issues. The candidate must be able to work within a high-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. The opportunity is to join our Charlotte-based Wells Fargo team, with focus on covering the support of applications used across the Wells platform, in addition to associated development projects both locally and globally. The team owns the holistic support of the technology platform globally including tactical enhancements, application upgrades, new application rollouts, maintenance and performance tuning. The team provides a depth of technology services to the organization whose strategy leverages both proprietary built systems that complement customized vendor applications. The team is in transition into building a truly global follow the sun model, in line with the business changes. Key Responsibilities: · Application Support of the various sales, research and mortgage banking platforms, including interfacing with front-office users daily · Troubleshooting business issues, solving problems to provide solutions to diverse infrastructure teams and the product aligned trading desks · Ownership and accountability for the operation, monitoring and integrity of the technology platform · Escalation support for the members of the team located in other regions including evenings and weekends on a rotational basis · Ownership and participation in the Problem and Incident management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis and technology and business reporting and communication. · Providing oversight for the stability of the production environment within the change management process ensuring policies are enforced and adhered to · Relationship management internally with the trading desks, operations teams, and other infrastructure partners · Navigate the wider technology organization; build relationships to manage the teams agenda with our critical technology partners. · Interface with external vendors and their technical support and development organizations ensuring focus to resolution of issues and strategic enhancements. · Proactively identify improvements and address them through independent thinking within a consensus driven team. Essential · 7 - 10+ years experience in technology, in a production support role. · Detailed knowledge of the fixed-income trading lifecycle, with a focus on front office technology, with particular focus on proprietary and vendor systems like Client onboarding · In depth knowledge of trading systems throughout the full application stack, infrastructure to GUI · Multi Asset class product knowledge · Proven track record in project management, project delivery · Knowledge of operating systems: UNIX, Windows, and Linux. · Advanced SQL knowledge on Sybase, Oracle, and Microsoft databases. -Knowledge of SSIS package and ssl certificates - Good Knowledge of Autosys and   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
