This Test Automation Architect must be a deep technical Tosca specialist with hands on experience of Tricentis Tosca solutions who will ensure that approaches, tools, and techniques are built to facilitate delivery and manage dependencies across teams. The Test Automation Architect is responsible for optimizing, technical mentoring, and continually improving the development functions as well as help define an automated testing strategy considering current situation and best testing practices keeping Agile development methodology in mind. Duties include designing and developing Test Automation Framework (Tosca preferred), reviewing repository health and code libraries to enable the team to use and enhance them across successive projects. This role is responsible for Test Infrastructure, environments, and software, acting as liaison with teams, such as DevSecOps and Support, to build cohesive Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Resilience (CR), advising Test Specialists on Tosca Best Practices, and providing technical support to the Test Manager to assist in achieving their strategic goals for the Test Teams. This position must possess broad awareness of testing approaches, practices, design techniques and deliver the overall testing methodology, monitor the effectiveness of the testing function, and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and the Software Test Life cycle (STLC).
