The Content Server (Livelink) Administrator/Consultant will prepare detailed specifications and is responsible for planning, setup, configuration, documentation, and advanced support. The Content Server (Livelink) Administrator/Consultant must have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and have a good understanding of the business or function for which the application is designed. He/She is responsible for management of certain projects as needed, as they relate to specific business needs. The deliveries of applications for content management will be both one-time engagements as well as syndicated/repeatable deliveries to meet business needs with appropriate model determined through the course of each engagement. The role requires strong business and collaboration skills to effectively partner internally and externally across all Quintiles lines of business and customer segments. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Tier III Content Server (Livelink) Administration and Architecture Support/Planning, including standing up new environments. Where necessary, developing and enhancing Content Server (Livelink) with solutions that include form-driven functions, business process workflows, and dynamic web reports Analyzing and designing new processes and/or applications based on business requirements and technical specifications that have been reviewed and approved by the client and technical team. Working with product management team and other business groups to resolve issues throughout project testing phases. Preparing documentation of developed programs in accordance with software development methodology utilizing standard templates. Preparing estimates of work effort and reports status, activities and issues in accordance with IT procedures. Providing technical assistance on software and assists product support with advanced administration triage and support when necessary. Qualifications REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong experience in the Open Text Content Server (Livelink) enterprise content management system, specifically around forms, workflow development, and webreports. Demonstrated proficiency in the development of SQL queries, JavaScript and HTML, as well as XML/XSL, and creating or interfacing with web services Experience with Oracle database integration and understanding of Content Server (Livelink) Schema as well as query optimization Experience with full lifecycle development projects, OO/SOA, AGILE development methodologies or RUP Analytical problem solving skills with ability to identify pragmatic solutions to complex business and commercial problems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with customers and Quintiles staff at all levels Strong presentation, consulting and documentation skills as well as a strong sense of ownership and commitment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify and resolve key issues Overall experience 8+ years; 4 years of solid Open Text Content Server (Livelink) experience. 8+ years in Software Development and systems integration, preferably in large scale enterprise projects.
