Job Description Administrator: Windows XP, Windows 7, MS Office 2007, McAfee Troubleshooting TCPIP DHCP

Client is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 12 month), contractor assignment to provide desktop support/specialist services to ESC Information Systems management regarding the optimal design, configuration, and operations of a standard workstation image utilizing Microsoft Windows 7 for its operating system. The selected contractor will collaborate with ESC?s User Support Group to develop this new image which be implemented on ESC-supported workstations for the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division.

Responsibilities will include configuration review and auditing, planning, configuration specifications, and implementation to ensure the image is compliant with applicable federal security standards.

Applications to be included in the image include:

? Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System,
? Microsoft Office 2010 (including Outlook),
? 3270 Emulation Software, Attachmate Xtreme 9.4
? Microsoft Internet Explorer 8
? McAfee Endpoint Security software (Antivirus and Encryption)
? Malwarebytes Anti-malware software
? RealVNC Enterprise Version

NOTE: Other software may be added to or deleted from the image based on business requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required:
? Minimum of five (5) years experience supporting the Windows XP operating system
? Minimum of two (2) years experience supporting the Windows 7 operating system
? Minimum of two (2) years experience supporting Microsoft Office 2007 or Microsoft Office 2010
? Minimum of one (1) year experience supporting McAfee AntiVirus software
? Minimum of one (1) year experience with installation of McAfee Endpoint Encryption (formerly Safeboot Encryption)
? Experience in the development of standard images for Microsoft Windows based workstations
? Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP networking for client systems including DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory account management.
