The selected candidate will be responsible for development of business requirements, design and coordination of business process changes, test plans, test scripts and assisting with maintenance of project management tracking. This individual will be knowledgeable in all aspects of business analysis, testing and has a basic understanding of project management and system development life cycle. The individual must have proven experience with enterprise level development projects. The Business Analyst will work closely with clients Project Manager in assisting with solution business and technical documentation and project management tools to meet State IT requirements. Role responsibilities: • Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, work flow and business processes • Design, document, and coordinate desired business process changes • Document the projects and project deliverables as assigned • Work with the project manager and business to develop test plans, scenarios and scripts • Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other programs and projects • Provide coordination and leadership for other project team members as needed • Consult with clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug applications to meet needs • Provide quality control for project deliverables • Development of use cases and swim lane diagrams in support of business requirements and process decomposition Required Skills: - Minimum of 7 years of business process analysis, requirements development, testing and documentation - Working knowledge of application development life cycle - Planning and management skills, including scope estimating, budgeting and resource allocation procedures - Strong analytical and conceptual skills - Positive interpersonal skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Working knowledge of business improvement process and industry best practices - Microsoft Suite experience (e.g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) - Excellent organizational and presentation skills - Experience in development of use cases and swim lane diagrams in support of business requirements and process decomposition Desired Skills: - Proven experience testing process for large projects (> $5M) - Proven experience analyzing project requirements interfacing with multiple systems - Proven experience evaluating business processes and re-engineering. - Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts such as process decomposition, BRM and Business Process Mapping - Prior experience working in local, state or federal government environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
