The unit is responsible for managing relationship between the DHB program/functional areas and the Technology that supports the business and supports all of the division. Job Specific Responsibilities • Navigate through different code sets (CPT, ICD, and HCPCS) to correct claims in the NCTracks claims system • Provide resolution to providers on coding questions and issues • Participate in defect resolutions and system enhancements meeting as it relates to claims coding. • Review of systems edits and audits for claims coding. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Demonstrated experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or other healthcare payment systems • Demonstrated knowledge of NCTracks • Thorough knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding principles and rules • Strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, technology, and regulatory requirements • Strong knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software, and equipment • Proven ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with the business areas to ensure service requirements are being met • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and persuasion abilities • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and detail-oriented skills • Highly proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
