JOB SUMMARY This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 security platform. This position requires expert-level knowledge of Entra/Azure Active Directory Premium, Defender for Office 365, Azure Information Protection, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, Data Loss Prevention, and Conditional Access. The Security Architect has experience in designing and implementing complex security solutions and should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: • Required Minimum Training: Graduation from a four-year college or university or equivalent training and experience in the field of work related to the positions role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. • Expert-level knowledge of Entra/Azure Active Directory Premium, Defender for Office 365, Azure Information Protection, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, Data Loss Prevention, and Conditional Access. • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred. Professional Licenses/Certifications: • Microsoft SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect • Microsoft SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst • Microsoft SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator • Microsoft SC-400: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Implement and configure Entra/Azure Active Directory Premium, Defender for Office 365, Azure Information Protection, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, Data Loss Prevention, and Conditional Access based on • Develop detailed project plans, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications for security platform implementation • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and team members on M365 Security solutions • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the security architecture integrates effectively with the overall IT infrastructure. • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies and make recommendations for enhancements to security engagements. • Participate in knowledge-sharing and training sessions for team members and agency employees • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and agency employees in a fast-paced environment • Stay up-to-date with current and future platform advancements through continuous learning opportunities ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Escalate interruptions immediately to Management and/or supervisor. • Support immediate Team and other employee-based groups including providing knowledge sharing. • Meet project expectations on quality of work, deliverables, and task completion on time. • Participate in internal learning opportunities. • Ability to work independently and as a team including cross functional teams. • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. • Clearly articulate current status and articulate required action items to all stakeholders. • Proactively provides process improvement or standardization. • Proactively assist in setting expectations and managing definition of services. • Responsible for system documentation as ass   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
