Web Application Developer This position will support Application Administration Services, more specifically the Web Support Services group, in the Office of Information Technology, providing technical programming related to maintenance and overall functional enhancement of web-based, non-ERP platforms. This position will perform analysis, design, development, maintenance, testing, implementation and documentation activities for various projects, software enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and integrations. Provide development, testing, and programming throughout the development lifecycle of web site and selected web-based applications. Manage the required integration systems, and application automation requirements between university production web-based systems and supported vendor systems used by the University. Serve as point of contact for web-based programming, automation, web-based software and computer programming, content management system modifications, web portals, and application systems integrations. Create, document, and manage relevant portal technologies and interfaces, and provide API platform programming and technologies as needed to provide efficient data transfer and communication between enterprise systems. Review/monitor technological infrastructure within selected web-based and other ancillary administrative systems to ensure system availability. Create and maintain reporting and analytical usage dashboards and provide proper interfaces for analytical data. Promote change by communicating and involving others in the development of new systems. Provide technical guidance & assistance in utilizing web content management system. Provide administrative assistance with operational support of the content management systems and on-line multi-media resources/ service.
