The analyst will support the functional areas, product and technology partners in testing and implement system modifications and new technology solutions that meet business needs as well as to prepare for new client implementations. This position examines complex data to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data being collected, resolve data quality problems within the data structure, data interfaces, reporting and collaborates with database developers to improve systems and database integrity. The primary responsibility includes developing and executing test cases and working collaboratively with business functional leads to ensure that the quality and accuracy of the data meets the requirements of the business programs, downstream customers, conforms to all applicable Federal and state laws. Job Responsibilities: • Participate in joint application design session with development team and policy stakeholders for program enhancements or defects • Collaborate with policy and business analyst leads on necessary approach for adequate testing coverage • Participate in project meetings such as defect triage and test case and/or requirements documentation reviews involving cross-functional teams, key business stakeholders and development managers. • Work with small teams of business analysts, implementation and operational managers, external vendors and consultants to support implementation activities. • Develop and execute test cases, document results and coordinate user acceptance test activities with subject matter experts. • Actively manage defects from inception through resolution, working with business SMEs, application designers, developers and testers to effectively prioritize and drive to resolution. • Create and execute test cases for an ETL process (for an ETL process that loads data from files to SQL database and vice versa). • Verification of data requirements including, source to target mapping, report outputs, interfaces, batch jobs, flat files, etc. • Writing SQLs to check record counts, data truncation, invalid datatypes, NULLs and data integrity • Assist in the development and maintenance of data standards, definitions, and models documentation (e.g. data dictionary, organizational data model. • Participate in larger teams as a team member, and/or work independently • Identify areas for process improvement to improve quality and optimize cost. Experience/Preferred Skills Required: • 8+ years of experience working on large scale, complex projects. • 5+ years of economic assistance program industry in a role centered around test case creation, technical acumen and experience with multiple systems interfaces expertise. • 3-5 years of experience with data analysis and validation including (data warehouse, ETL processes, large volume reports, • Exceptional analytical skills • Intermediate to advanced SQL query skills • Proven ability to validate test data preparation and verify all teams are aligned with what needs to occur to build/prepare the business functional tests, regression, and end to end testing. • Demonstrated strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills. • Ability to summarize status, develop execution metrics and escalate issues as necessary to Management. • Knowledge of TQM / QA practices • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and rela   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
