The IS&T Data Governance Lead plays a major role in ensuring that technical architecture and deliverables are aligned with data governance requirements, policies, promote and enforce compliance through automation, security, and tools. He / She / They are responsible for ensuring effective integration between master data management, data integration pipelines, and reporting / analytical systems to promote data trustworthiness. The IS&T Data Governance Lead will work with the IS&T Data Management & Enterprise Business Intelligence and stakeholders to define, design, develop, and deliver tactical and strategic technical architectures that align with Data Governance Roadmap and Strategic Plan and achieve the business vision. The IS&T Data Governance Lead continuously develops and communicates the strategic technical architecture to the development teams and defines the features of the system. Scope of Activities: The IS&T Data Governance Lead will demonstrate competency across the following scope of activities: Provides support to IS&T project teams for all activities related to data management and enterprise business intelligence components developed and maintained Champions master data management, data quality, integrity, reliability, and all other technical aspects of data governance throughout the agency by defining and promoting best practices Has direct communication with data owners, data analysts, application developers, and / or vendors to convey technical requirements that automate and enforce data governance compliance Plan and lead data governance technical implementations such as data catalog, and master data management systems as well as their integration into data management and enterprise business intelligence systems Defines the key metrics and the required attributes for each data domain or subject area to support the ongoing health and development of data governance Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivor ship criteria, and data stewardship workflows Contributes to enterprise architecture development from a data governance needs perspective Collaborates with IS&T Business Analysts to identify solutions to business problems and help to introduce these solutions to project managers, owners, and stakeholders Required Credentials and Experience: Post High School coursework, training, or experience Capable of working 100% remotely during the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm CST IT experience working with enterprise data management and business intelligence platforms IT experience in data analysis, data validation, data lineage, data cleansing, data verification, and data matching Preferred Credentials and Experience: IT experience working health data Skills: Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience gathering a   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
