Section III - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works with assigned business unit stakeholders to define scope and objective of business needs through an understanding of business processes and systems and identification of gaps and limitations. Coordinates with IT resources to develop and document the specific business requirements and functional specifications to develop or modify business systems. Identifies requirements risks and mitigations. Validates system functionality with end users through data and/or functional testing. Assists with all pre-deployment activities to ensure successful launch including coordination of UAT. Assists in resolving issues and escalating required fixes. Tracks change requests, assesses impacts of changes, communicates changes to business unit stakeholders and obtains approvals as necessary. Supports project team with organizational change management process by defining communication and training plans customized to impacted stakeholder groups. Manages communication to business unit stakeholders regarding status, timeframes, issues, resolutions, etc. Section IV - ADDITIONAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates an interest in gaining new skills, interest in exploring and understanding new concepts and topic areas. Applies general knowledge developed through education and/or experience. Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures. Remains current in profession and industry trends. Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by: making suggestions for improvement learning new skills, procedures and processes. Performs other duties as required. Section V - SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None Section VI - QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Four-year college degree or up to 3 years of Business Analyst experience. LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS (ONLY IF POSITION IS EXEMPT) Must demonstrate appropriate experience in the following: Strategic skills, Innovation, Diversity & Inclusion, Enterprise Thinking, Relationship Building, Talent Management, Execution and Optimism. Business Analysts need to be able to be effective in formal and informal leadership roles in order to guide others, investigate requirements and help encourage stakeholder support for a necessary change. TECHNICAL SKILLS Knowledge of business case development and requirements elicitation practices. Proficient understanding of requirements management and analysis. Proficient skills in IT and business relationship management. Proficient understanding of change leadership. LANGUAGE SKILLS Clear, concise, and effective written, graphical, and verbal communication skills (including strong editing skills). Strong facilitation and presentation skills. Strong listening and communication skills including ability to influence and negotiate. Ability to clearly articulate business concepts and process to the technical team in a meaningful way. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic knowledge of applied mathematics such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions and ability to apply in practical solutions. REASONING ABILITY Understand problem statements, identify solutions (pros and cons), and identify best fit solution with proper analysis. Generation of and productive consideration of new ideas.
