You fully understand high-availability database environments, Oracle RAC , Oracle DataGuard DB migrations from 11g to 19c, Oracle ZFS Appliance solutions Engage with Stakeholders in analyzing the current state of various applications to find dependencies and readiness to move from 11g to 19c. Coordinate and plan the migrations for • Oracle Exadata HW upgrade to Exacc • DB Upgrade from 11g to 19c • DR in oracle cloud Exacs You will: • deliver against end-to-end project requirements • manage project issues and risks and communicate project status • manage stakeholder expectation • identify and track cross-project dependencies • facilitate cross-silo communications and decision-making processes • attend project meetings and deliverable review sessions • facilitate program-level and project-leadership team meetings • be the single point of contact for project stakeholders • act as the escalation point for project managers and business owners • produce program and project documentation and business communications • focus on connecting the dots, not diving into the details of the solution • set up and manage projects in the Project Management tool Planview Required Skills • Seven years of experience in technology project management • Four years of experience leading global, cross-functional teams • Advanced technical/business skills necessary to work in non-routine and very complex environments • Experience with Oracle DB Migrations to Oracle cloud. • Leading contributor as an individually and as a team member providing direction/mentoring to others • Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and informatively to senior level developers and managers Desired skills include: • Good technical writing and communication skills. Need to clearly write descriptions of issues and corrective actions • Systematic problem-solving approach combined with a strong sense of ownership and drive in resolving issues • Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills, work with new tools, and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex challenges Preferred qualifications • Bachelors Degree • Six plus years of related experience in a medium to large Oracle environment • Experience working in project teams, and being a primary contact for project related work • Certifications in Oracle Cloud technologies would be added advantage • PMP certifications Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
