Ideal candidate is a detailed task-oriented individual with experience in managing application development and integration projects and has a basic understanding of mainframe and cloud technology concepts. (hands on working experience in any of the former mentioned a plus but not required). Candidate will work with various management levels and technology areas within the organization and possesses a firm grasp of project management and software development approaches. Base Skills • Thorough working knowledge of SDLC models/methodologies, IT System and processes, and project management practices • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to achieve the goals of the project • Ensure that all phases of the project are delivered on-time, within scope and work remains aligned with the projects strategies and goals • Work with vendor and key project lead to ensure project scope and objectives are being met • Provide guidance to area leads, project team and vendor resources • Support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines and processes. Ensure resource availability and continuous allocation • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques • Report and escalate to management key impacting issues • Perform risk management to assess project impact and effectiveness of mitigation strategies • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors project management and technical leads • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints where appropriate • Jointly develop with the team a comprehensive project plan that aligns with the vendors work effort as well as the organizations time and budgetary constraints KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related study and equivalent work experience. • Seven (7) years of proven working experience in project management. • Prior experience with integration or migration related projects • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus • Systems Architectural experience is a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
