Recognized as an expert in Application Support for WIndows Sharepoint, Web Site Administration (.NET), Business Objects Operations familiarity and Remedy Operations. This position is the final tier in escalation support prior to seeking involvement from management. Work as part of a team in support of operational and project related activities. Provide technical and operational support to other departments and teams as required in support of business objectives. Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: - 6-8 years experience in a Microsoft Windows environment. - Display strong inter-personal and communication skills. - Provide 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members. - Provide troubleshooting for applications and systems mentioned above in addition to custom developed applications as well. Must be familiar with SQL. - Provide technical support for Windows/web/sql related project activities. - Apply patches and upgrades to operating systems as required. - Competence with most Windows commands/utilities. - Familiarity with most basic system administration processes. - Can add and remove user accounts and maintain system files. - Understanding of system services and domain administration/AD. - Some experience with scripting and tools. - A degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Provide LAN support in for users in multiplatform environment, including on-site support and training for users if necessary. * Responsible for complete administration of client networks including monitoring network traffic, backup, Citrix based applications support, connectivity on a daily basis. *Remedy Operations/Administration *Administration of Sharepoint 2007. * Web Site Administration (ASP and Cold Fusion). * Business Objects Administration. * Troubleshoot all the hardware, software, user account, access privileges, logon scripts, profiles, internet, intranet, connectivity, email, network/local and performance related issues * Responsible for data backup completion and verification. Preferred skills: Sharepoint 2007, SQL and Windows administration. Must be excellent communicator and a self motivator.
